Privacy Policy

AyurWell ("we", "the app") is a personalized Ayurvedic wellness tool. This policy explains what data we collect, how it's used, and how it's stored.

What we collect

• Profile information you enter — name, age, gender, wellness goals, activity level, and any health conditions you choose to share — to calculate your Ayurvedic constitution (Prakriti/Vikriti).
• Daily logs — meals, activity, mood, sleep, and notes you record.
• We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or precise location.

Where your data lives

Your profile and daily logs are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) on your own device. We do not operate a central database of user profiles or logs. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, this information is not recoverable by us because we never had a copy.

AI Coaching feature

If you use the AI Coach, your daily log and profile summary for that single day are sent to our backend (a Cloudflare Worker) which relays the request to Anthropic's Claude API to generate personalized feedback. This data is used only to generate the response and is not stored by us after the request completes. It is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy for the duration of processing.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or third parties. The WhatsApp share feature only sends the text you explicitly choose to share, via your own WhatsApp account.

Your choices

• You can clear all locally stored data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for AyurWell, or via your browser settings.
• Logs older than 30 days are automatically pruned from local storage.
